Fee: $150+gst for full day module (10am-4pm) ~ class size is 8 persons
Module 1 is a prerequisite for Module 2; Modules 1 & 2 for Module 3
Though designed for bodywork therapists, modules are open to all interested persons
These workshops are pending approval for RMT ceu's, and qualify for ND ceu's
A certificate of completion is awarded for the study of all three modules
Pankaj Seth, ND
Pankaj Seth was born in India and came to Canada at ten years of age. Along with a B.Sc. (hons.) degree in Molecular Genetics from York University, he is a graduate of the 5000 hours Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College Naturopathic Medicine.
His clinical practise of 12 years incorporates Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture, Homeopathic Medicine, Western Medical Herbalism, Clinical Nutrition, Bodywork, Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation. In addition, he also teaches classes in Classical Yoga and Meditation, and regularly conducts seminars on various aspects of self-care.
Pankaj Seth has over 3500 hours of lecturing experience and 2500 hours of experience as Clinic Supervisor in the teaching clinic of the Canadian School of Eastern Medicine (Toronto), where he trained practitioners of Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. As Director of the Renaissance Naturopathic Centre in Toronto, he is also experienced in organizing and managing a multi-disciplinary clinical and educational approach to patient care.
He has upon invitation resided as Visiting Scholar at Gujarat Ayurved University (Jamnagar, India), considered by the WHO as "The home of Ayurveda", the only university in India wholly involved in teaching Ayurveda. While here, he presented a paper at the University's Foundation Day Conference: Integration and co-ordination between world medical systems with special reference to certain problematic diseases, subsequently published in the University's journal "Ayu". Pankaj Seth has also pursued his study of Ayurveda informally at Gurukul Kangri University (Hardwar, India), with Indian Ayurvedic physicians and by visiting Ayurvedic hospitals in India. While in India, he also studied the esoteric aspects of Yoga with Yogis in the Himalaya.
Pankaj Seth's interest in health and wholeness has also led him to the formal study of Permaculture, an holistic approach to designing harmonious and sustainable gardens, homes, ecosystems and communities. He has a lively interest in the Arts and in particular Sacred Art, and currently is one of the organizers of the "London Fringe Festival", an alternative theatre and arts festival with a worldwide following. He has had many public appearances, including television and radio, hospitals, universities, colleges, conferences and numerous seminars for laypeople and has been published in Canada, the U.S. and India. Currently, he practises Naturopathic Medicine in London, where he also teaches Yoga.
